Prague in spring is just something else
Charles Bridge early in the morning with almost no one around - that alone was worth the trip. The old city is so walkable and every street looks like a postcard. Beer is cheap and really good too.
A city break that totally delivered
Prague's Old Town Square is the real deal - the Astronomical Clock going off on the hour never gets old. Food was affordable, the architecture is stunning, and there's always something to see around every corner. Loved every bit of it.
Best city trip I've done in years
Vinohrady neighborhood is super cool - great local restaurants, none of the tourist crowds. Prague has this incredible mix of Gothic and Baroque buildings that you just don't see everywhere. Trdelník from a street stall hit the spot too.
Gorgeous city, great food and beer scene
The Czech food scene is seriously underappreciated. Svíčková with bread dumplings at a local pub near Malá Strana was one of the best meals I've had travelling. The local Pilsner Urquell on tap is on another level. Compact city, easy to get around.
Winter Prague is absolutely beautiful
Walking across Charles Bridge in the cold with the fog over the Vltava river felt unreal. The Christmas market at Wenceslas Square was still partially on and the mulled wine was perfect. Way fewer tourists in winter which makes it even better.
Prague blew me away
Didn't think a city could look this good. Prague Castle area gives you the most insane views over the whole city. Streets in Josefov are full of history and the Jewish Quarter is genuinely moving. Food and drinks are super affordable compared to Western Europe.
